I had heard that diapers were diapers, and there was no point in spending extra on one brand over another. However, that is NOT TRUE. Pampers are HANDS DOWN better than Huggies (both diapers and wipes).

We had been using Pampers from the beginning, and this was the brand they had used in the hospital. However, a week after we got home, the Little Monster got a diaper rash and we thought it might be related. So we decided to try a bag of Huggies to see if it would make a difference.

Big mistake. First off, they didn’t seem to fit very well. They weren’t as snug, but we gave them a go. We had several accidents that day, and let’s just say that Elle had many a wardrobe change. HUGGIES SUCK!

P.S. Their wipes are also less moist and strong. HUGGIES SUCK!

How can someone so tiny have so much output?

While I was changing the Little Monster today, she peed in my hand. I now know this is a very common thing for babies to do, and it could have been worse. (Friends have been generous enough to recount stories of projectile poo.) But at the time, I thought she was trying to even the score because of the iPhone incident.
